the more you expect to become and tie your awareness on “trying to become” (instead just becoming)

the more you are missing the point

(speaking from experience here)

More than anything, I think, taking on any sort of a challenge, however great or small, and regardless of the outcome or measure of success. Being open to new experiences also is a good primer for becoming.
