🪙 The amount of BTC on centralized exchanges has been melting away since the beginning of 2024 (see fig. 1), while Bitcoin whales are multiplying like crazy (see fig. 2). Of course, we’re not pushing anyone to any conclusions, just laying out the dry facts. But if anyone has some thoughts—drop them in the comments, let's figure out what’s going on with BTC. 💸 Investors Are Dumping BTC for Paper Gold! What’s going on in the market? Investors are selling off crypto and loading up on gold due to all this geopolitical turmoil. But here’s the catch: by buying gold on exchanges, they’re mostly just getting paper certificates. And in the event of a real war, how are they planning to get it? 🤷‍♂️ This raises the question: why not just keep BTC in their wallets? It might be virtual, but it’s still right at their fingertips. Where’s the logic in that, folks? Why risk your assets when you can just hold onto them and wait for better times?

🪙 Ethereum Foundation cashed out again! Today they sold 100 $ETH for 262,474 $DAI. 🔎 Since the start of 2024, the foundation has already offloaded 3,766 $ETH, bringing them 10.46 million $DAI via CoWSwap, with an average sale price of $2,777 per ETH. And here’s the kicker: just in September, they sold 1,250 $ETH worth $3.06 million.

Update on Initia! The L1 blockchain Initia, which we've covered in multiple posts and tested in the testnet, is back in the spotlight! They've announced a new investment round of $14 million with participation from Delphi Ventures and Brian Pellegrino (L0). The total investment amount now stands at $22.5 million. How unexpected 😏 Polymarket seems to be gearing up to launch its own token! The media has started throwing around info that the betting platform Polymarket is planning a major upgrade — the release of its token and raising $50 million in investments. So, are we catching a whiff of a new narrative for the gamblers? This project has already made a name for itself in the market, especially thanks to the U.S. elections and other hype events. Now they want to further establish themselves in the betting space and possibly treat us to something tasty, like an airdrop. As of today, Polymarket already has $74 million in the bag, but these guys clearly aren’t planning to stop and are negotiating new investments. For now, this is just rumor, but these things usually don’t pop up out of nowhere, right?

Well, folks, it looks like Telegram has finally decided to buddy up with the authorities! They've updated their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to make things consistent worldwide. Now, it's clearly stated that if someone breaks the rules, their IP addresses and phone numbers can be handed over to the authorities upon request. So, we wouldn't recommend messing around, unless you want to be surprised later by where the heat came from.
