I agree "programmable social" fits Farcaster better. "Decentralization" isn't as appealing since FC doesn't offer true data ownership. "Programmable Social" effectively conveys its blockchain integration, like how Frames enable onchain interactions in the Feed. https://x.com/onnnnnnnion/status/1798215639389393214

For me, what I find truly valuable about Farcaster is ownership of my social network and data. My Chinese twitter acct was suspended 2 months ago without any rule violations on my part. Despite numerous appeals, 0 response. It was painful, to say the least. It marked the end of it for me with Twitter.

This is a great example. What I mean is that Farcaster is not as decentralized as other social media platforms like Nostr, but compared to centralized empires like Twitter, Farcaster clearly offers you more data sovereignty. At least, it won鈥檛 ban your account (clients can, but the Farcaster protocol itself cannot).
