Religions are the devil of the world *to the most degree*

In 1/100000000 I can see a person getting a net positive from religion but a 999999999/100000000 ratio of people getting a net negative.

Yeah. I feel bad for those people that wake up every morning thinking about religion. People who's meaning in life is religion.

Not because I look down on them, actually on the contrary. I feel bad because the other 99.9% of religion shits so hard on the world that the poor people who do get good out of it are demonised with the rest of them.

Hopefully one day things will change and we can see more positive things come out of religion.

I do feel like some Eastern religions/philosophies are a lot better than our Western ones. At least in execution.

Funny you should say, it actually quite curious that the word religion comes from "religio" in latin, which means union. 

Union = Community

Back in the old old old days, we could even say that religion played a big part in helping humanity survive against other forces. But since a few hundred years it's all down hill. And tbh, it's only getting worse.

Yes, what I dislike most about religions is, that they are fueling hate nowaday's and are loosing the community part of it, which made it a great invention for time's where communities weren't easily formed. 

But nowaday's it's mostly a hate machine trying to draw borders, instead of unifying.
