After Brave browser removed its IPFS integration, Opera is now the only browser that can show you `ipns://` in the address bar. Opera relies on a public gateway instead of a local node. It's probably not as decentralized as a built-in node, but it's lighter on the maintenance side.

If I keep updating my Farcaster bio with the latest CID...

The good thing about CID is that it can be easily extracted using regular expressions.

IPNS has failed to get adoption (for good, mostly technical imo, reasons). 

But I think farcaster could be used to point to IPFS content. Not sure on the best way to do it, but:
- We have a decentralized namespace to address casts (fid/casthash)
- We have a number of high-quality clients able to resolve this namespace (with mobile and web).
- Casts can point to other types of content (web pages, and why not, ipfs hashes).
