This discussion on Tildes was kind of eye-opening: so much negative sentiment towards Honey for stuffing its affiliate links, zero admission of fault from users. The ad industry is adversarial and always has been. If you are a user who: * doesn’t want to pay for content you enjoy * doesn’t want to view/hear ads in your content * doesn’t vet the browser extensions they are installing You are just as culpable as Honey for “stealing” from these influencers. I don’t even consider it stealing. To me it was obvious what Honey is doing, so I didn’t install their extension.
