Feeling more “land grab” energy around channels lately

I understand the desire to *own* things but it’s kind of a vibe killer ngl

I just want to shitpost about different topics, not consider the economics of my content every time I cast

Hopefully just teething pains for a new primitive, like with frames

That being said, it makes perfect sense for some channels that have a critical mass like /memes and /tabletop .  It’s work to moderate these channels - it’s nice to have a revenue stream which pays moderators.

If your channel is smaller tho, might be better to have a vanilla hypersub
