In Montréal it’s chcocolatine by default and if they say pain au chocolat you know you are dealing with a Français

I heard a french guy on Ig was saying that Chocolatine is used in a specific part of France and that some bakeries with the founder from these regions use exclusively Chocolatine. Very rebellious. Very LF

They do NOT call it a chocolatine in the middle of Hudson’s Bay!!!

I use them interchangeably. But I do not say amandine.
