how many books do you read at the same time and on what point it’s too many?

Usually 2, one nonfiction for learning about a topic I'm interested in and one fiction for escape (depends on mood)

I'm not set on finishing books so move on from ones I'm not into quickly. Technically in the middle of dozens

for the longest time I put myself in a box of finishing all books (a habit forced by school). Now when I could switch with no guilt, I’m reading 10x more

it’s amazing how thief can read 1/4 of a book while browsing in a bookstore and yet fail to read it when he brings the book home

Morning Star (Red Rising series) for fiction
Moneyland: The Inside Story of the Crooks and Kleptocrats Who Rule the World for non-fiction

Same. One non-fiction for during the day, and fiction (or something light or a memoir) for before bed
