Hi Farcaster friends. Some personal news:

My stepfather is in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's and has just been placed in a memory care home. Fortunately he's in good hands and has the support he needs. 

Lots to do IRL, so I may be casting less frequently for awhile. Nonetheless, I'm just as much of a Farcaster maxi as ever and will be here when I can. 

I've made some dear friends here, and I wanted y'all to know why I may be slower than usual (and I'm usually kinda slow anyway... lol) to respond to notifs or DCs. 💜

I'm so sorry to hear, my grandfather had Alzheimer's and it is just a brutal situation. I'm glad that your stepfather has the support he needs ❤️

"Brutal" is the right word for it, for sure. The disease is cruel in ways that are hard to understand unless they're experienced first-hand.

Confirmed today that my stepfather is getting good care. I appreciate the supportive words, Linda!
