These were the first batch of ~10 airdrops to Farcaster users (~$110K so far). Early on as projects target potential new high quality users, they're factoring in how likely is this user to convert (not a retro airdrop) Sometimes projects choose to exclude users if there have been *multiple* prior airdrop sales in the past (not if you just sold 1). Put yourself in their shoes if a user immediately sold multiple prior airdrops, they're prob less likely to convert and you can give to another user that is higher likelihood That said, you won't be permabanned forever for selling multiple as this is building some data early on and there will be factors that can help outweigh (post high quality content, use mini apps, do onchain txns) Team has been slammed but we'll have more infra support on airdrops later. On list is def to show more token info (that's why I manually post info for now since not built in) As Farcaster grows and becomes more valuable to target, airdrop amounts will naturally be larger too

I don't even know the reason why I am not eligible to any of Farcaster drop. This is so annoying, I have seen people that are not even active or make much onchain transactions receiving airdrop not even complete all verification. This is not clear at all.

Prices after airdrops trend downwards. Penalizing for selling doesn’t seem to take into account the tax burden of claiming (larger) airdrops

Hi Linda, I really want to know why I wasn't included in the airdrop these two days. Because I have been active for more than a year and every day. I have real friends. I completed all 6/6 tasks. I have a label two. I had transactions every day. I get weekly rewards on the leaderboard every week. My Warplet account balance is good. And everything is better than many who are included but not me! Although I was included before, I even got Monad and Hunt. But not these two days! Including people who even have a neynar below 0.2 and are spam and don't even have ten good posts and likes. Why im not eligible 🥲 idk 🤷🏻‍♀️

I know this might be a high bar, but I’d encourage asking the question: “why might someone who gets airdropped tokens actually end up buying more tokens to use on your chain?” I think the monad testnet tokens and celo airdrop were the best I’d seen so far. Airdropping testnet tokens seems to be a real use case if you’re looking to be early to test there. Celo I at least learned what mini apps I could use my tokens for, but had a tough time justifying I’d do be doing more of the same things on Celo. Buy stuff app was interesting, but there should really be something I can buy with $5

Doesn't this beat the idea of decentralization and rewarding active participation ? Refusing to reward users because they sold previous airdrops, mind you some of us never even sold anything. You could as well do a 24 months vesting then I know Base is about rewarding and supporting creators but do you think those selling just want to sell for selling sake🥲?
