I feel like you can tell a lot about a person based on how much they let their dog sniff things while they are taking them for a walk

The worst is seeing owners that are so unaware that they drag their dogs while theyโ€™re trying to pee

The reason I decided to marry my husband was because of how he walked my dog, Dubu. Dubu loves sniffing around, and my husband patiently waited for him every time๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿปโ€โ„๏ธ

Iโ€™m so glad my dog is a female therefore she only sniffs. Iโ€™ve seen male dogs lick all the time ๐Ÿ˜ง

Meh judge me all ya want but my dog needs structure or he becomes an anxious angry mess. He gets to sniff and explore at the destination, not while weโ€™re walking.

lol. this is so funny and true i feel a lot of people are afraid their dog is gonna be attacked and killed so they are anti-sniff rather than realizing that itโ€™s just how dogs size eachother up i am team pro sniff fwiw ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

The sniffs are very stimulating for your pup ๐Ÿถ itโ€™s important to exercise their brain and their body ๐Ÿง

My dog is the same. Dogs often don't like deep voices, don't they? My dog tends to be more affectionate towards women than men.

I've found there's a fine line between taking your dog for a walk and being walked by your dog

Same thing for toddlers imo. They're interested in everything, but instead of sniffing they're touching.

i used to spend so much time letting her smell anything. walks would take like 2 hrs legit, but i was in high school and didn't matter. i justified it saying "you'll be glad you did this when she's gone" i ended up being right

Hmm, really, never thought about it. And I remembered myself often rushing around and pulling my dog.

I had a neighbor who let their dog pee on one of my bushes. It was clearly killing the bush but they had no shame about it, they'd do it while I was outside and just be like "sorry, the dog just likes your bush!" as if they couldn't just pull the dog away. ๐Ÿคฆ
