What do you believe is the *single* highest impact thing that the Warpcast team could do or build to grow mini apps?

Better Discovery. For example I would love to see not only trending apps but apps people I follow are using.

Create a tool that enables anyone to build them, without any knowledge of backend, etc - not even having to vibecode Enable this tool for anyone. Results in a Low impact app, but cool that literally anyone can build their own app and gain distribution Then pay them and show them more powerful apps to use their $5 USDC in

not the top thing probably but i think fixing the mobile developers rewards page to show mini app ranks for mini app creators who have a mini app outside the top 50 would be helpful

One potential opportunity could be to channel some of the same energy and excitement typically reserved for KOLs and celebrities into spotlighting emerging builders. Consider assigning an intern or volunteer to consistently explore the timeline and surface noteworthy builders and initiatives. Having someone embedded in the community’s daily rhythm can be a powerful morale booster and help identify rising talent early! Better vibes, better dau/retention?

grow DAU outside of that: - make it even easier to build them. Single action: streamlined dev tools & education for devs but we'll jump through all hurdles with more DAU & potential. So DAU <> Mini Apps Mini Apps help retention & DAU, DAU help mini apps

let users opt in to native push notifications right now mini app noti's are only as powerful as the user is addicted to warpcast Whereas their warpcast usage could be driven way more by the apps Has to be user opt in, but would be incredibly powerful imo

incentivise chains to compete for users of mini apps warpcast has real potential to be a proving ground I'm not sure the best game theory, but to have L2s, solana and maybe other chains competing would be powerful they already compete for market share, what's one more arena?

"vibe coding" has given everyone tools to FAFO with dev. Record 0-1 mini-app tutorials that go from idea to deployment using tools like cursor, replit etc. I have a few ideas for fun apps and when i start im sure it wont be that hard to figure out but right now i dont know: - How do i start and how do i test apps without deploying them? - Can i make private apps that interact with sepolia? - What is the best way to deploy an app? I'm sure this info exists already but making it really really easy to watch a 10min vid of someone making a super basic app + testing it works + deploying it would be helpful imo!

remove the requirement to call actions.ready() for a mini app to work. i know why it's there, but almost no one uses it for it's intended purpose and instead just call it right away. i do too. it's just added dev friction. every website should work as a miniapp as is, as long as the embed tags are there. if the dev is interested in integrating user auth or social graph or payments or whatever then they can import the fc sdk and progressively ad what they need. but it shouldn't be a requirement. the closer mini apps are to regular web apps, the better. cc @deodad

This may be a stupid idea but today I was thinking what if mini apps could be installed as standalone apps on our phones? Like @stokefire was first an app then a mini app but what if the reverse was possible too?

Add Warpcast specific features in the form of mini apps to get people used to using them. Profile analytics would be cool, cast scheduler tool, etc. A prime example would be the "total earned on Warpcast" button being a sharable mini app. So many people are already sharing it by screenshotting it, imagine if you could just tap the shared post and immediately see your own stats.
