How do you manage your cal/time? 

I'm in back to back to backs, not giving myself the space for deeper work or thought. 

I know "blocking out time for deep work" is part of the solution, but a super important meeting always emerges and fills that spot. 

What are your strategies for prioritization or saying no?

Make something people want to be a part of

If it doesn't require a ton of nuance or important decision making, I often will ask the person if this is something we can chat about async over messages instead. Usually leads to ~5 min of time rather than a 30 min meeting

I classify meeting with founders raising as needing to make an important decision for the fund. This is more for the inbound I get on wanting to chat, get advice/feedback, etc which ends up being a lot

Do you do this to things like the 1st meeting with a founder looking for investment, or is that more of a video call only thing?
