I'm in a Waymo self driving car in heavy rain and it's fascinating seeing that it's barely using the windshield wipers because it doesn't need them to see out the front window

we'd imagine that could be quite soothing, once we get over the immediate anxiety

I prefer lots of natural light so wouldn't like that at all

i just drove in the rain with one of those cars that has automatic spacing with cruise control and a few times on the highway the camera couldnt see and the car immediately braked and it was SO SCARY

As someone who’s hyper vigilant to my surroundings I’d have anxiety

i'd feel very strange without a clean front window but overall i love waymo

I could see myself taking a self driving card ride to nowhere and back in the rain. Read, listen to music, work
