Been an intense 2 weeks of running 6 airdrop offer experiments totaling $50k+ with different projects (along with @slokh @blockheim). The feedback and early data has been positive and we have more lined up. Taking a brief pause to dig further into the data and user feedback so can iterate and improve before next set!

Some data on the first several airdrop offers:
- average of 1,900 users for each airdrop
- 69% claim rate
- 70% hold rate from claims ($ spent by teams)

One thing to note about these airdrop offers to Farcaster users is almost every project we talk to is looking to use it to acquire new high quality users to their project. So it's often going to be metrics related to follower count (excluding spam), frames usage, onchain transactions. And likely not retro airdrops

just out of curiosity, who selectes the users and what's typical criteria?

for context, I am new, so I know I don't (and shouldn't) qualify for anything, but it's fascinating for me to try to understand "free money" logic

Just checked the stats from our $HUNT airdrop - results were better than expected!

967 addresses claimed so far:
- 71.15% held the full airdrop
- 3.93% bought more
- only 24.92% sold

hold rate is a great stat
would be good to also measure the "bought more" rate
and the average amount bought by those who do buy more after
ideally the "bought more" rate * average amount bought > (1 - hold rate) * average airdrop amount

How can man access this air drops? 🤷🏿‍♂️

The reputation of holding is probably more valuable than the coins. Now that I think about it maybe I should buy a little more of each and hold that too.
