damn this made me realize a lot of the podcasts (non-comedy focused) are absolute mid lol

two recs: 

standard podcast set up w some topical stuff mixed in → Brilliant Idiots w Charlemagne & Andrew Schulz 

avant garde, early 2010s, only audio, some sketch concept stuff → Ten Minute Podcast w Chris Delia, Bryan Callen, & Will Sasso (everything before episode 300)

1st is safest bet, more a regular show just chatting with some funny parts emerging out of nowhere 

2nd one is a very specific humor preference where they are only trying to be funny all the time (either grand slam or a miss)
