I was asleep, what happened? Last night, Trump launched his $TRUMP token, which reached a market cap of over $13B in just 4 hours, surpassing Litecoin, Polkadot, and TON in capitalization. The token launch coincides with the upcoming inauguration. Positive and negative aspects: • BTC: The reserve status is now even closer, as the president has launched a meme coin. • SOL: The token was launched on the Solana network, and the SOL token grew by ~10%. • Memes: On one hand, this could bring a new wave of attention; on the other, if every senator starts launching new memes, it could lead to liquidity draining from older ones. The token is currently trading at ~$15.20, and we expect Tier-1 exchange listings in the near future. This is a positive sign for cryptocurrency as a whole, as today's event symbolizes the arrival of newfound freedom.
