here's a 24-hour update from a broadcast using warpcast DCs to reach my onchain audience: we successfully sent a demo message on warpcast to a cohort of 3,329 wallets, with 2,926 having a farcaster handle. out of these, 380 users have claimed their reward, resulting in a 13% claim conversion rate. this is exceptionally high compared to the traditional industry sales conversion rates in email marketing, which typically range from 0.1% to 1%. based on email marketing benchmarks and working our way backward to estimate, we projected the first 2 rates in less than 24 hours: 1. projected open rate: 29.25% 2. projected click-through rate: 19.5% 3. actual claim conversion rate: 13% these results significantly outperform industry email benchmarks. key insight: warpcast DCs feel personal and have high engagement rates.

3 things that could have improved my 24-hour claim conversion rate: 1. i had a typo that said the deadline was july 4th instead of august 4th. people commented on it, and many likely ignored the message thinking the deadline had passed. i'll send a follow-up to correct this. 2. personalizing the message with {{username}} would have made it more engaging. bello doesn't support this yet, but it's coming soon. 3. some people were skeptical about clicking a link. building more trust around shared links could help with this.
