Wonder why PayPal has a stablecoin? Wonder why BoA is pushing for crypto payments? Wonder why Moneygram is using XLM? And yet, the majority of CT has zero clue as to what is actually happening. Priceless.

You will find no documentary that has aged better or become more relevant today than this one. Watched it back in 2015 and it has always stuck with me. Need to grab a physical copy, but until then I might just stream for free.

So, the company who's token use case has been surpassed by stablecoins, and was ultimately against stables and smart contracts until 2024... Is now looking at pivoting harder into CBDC use cases... Yeah, the market isn't priced in at all after yesterday.

Finding companies in this space that have legitimate and useful patents on technology is so rare. If you find one, consider the opportunity presented. Side note: I used to write for a website about the webOS palm phones. Apple was angry as palm would work around to make iTunes sync with webOS, multiple times. Apple tried to sue once, then palm waived the patent on the smartphone (now owned by Qualcomm). Would have been very costly.

Part of growing a community involves culling from the herd when necessary. It's not "gatekeeping" or "being an insider". Sometimes it needs to be done for their own well being. I think many of us in this space don't grasp how toxic a 24/7 low liquidity market is mentally. Once again, Farcaster > X.

Taking a month off for the kiddo hatching put a bit of strain on the finances. And need to apply for jobs as current contract ends in 30 days. One day I'll get paid for being online and/or working in crypto. Just need to focus. So hard to do in a bull run.

If you think this will be XRP, you are not anywhere near a researcher level on retail payments. A certain ERC-777 token was targeted by Gary Gensler, and it has the potential to enable this at the flip of a switch. Pay by bank, fraud proof, and patents galore behind the company doing the integrations.
