what's your story? how long have you been vegan, and why?

hey gm frenz! so glad this channel exists 🙏💙🌱💙🙏

ive been vegan now for just over 13 years. one of the best decisions ive made tbh. Before vegan days I was semi vegetarian for about 4 years after stumbling upon some factory farming videos as a late teen 😓

i actually rly wanted to be fully vegan but thought it wasn't possible health wise (was surrounded by a lot of ignorant people and tofurky back then haha), but when i met my  girlfriend (now wife ^_^) who was also a "kinda vegetarian" we started doing more reading: Eating Animals, Forks Over Knives, etc. Learned some dope recipes, found more vegan friends, and supported each other on the transition to vegan. 13 years later here we are, two vegans volunteering at farm sanctuaries ^_^
