OODA is a decision making framework created by the US Air Force to guide pilot decisions during live dogfights. It has since been popularized as a favorite strategy of Jeff Bezos. If done right, your opponents are stuck responding/orienting to your last move while you are moving into your next strategic action.

fun fact. I stumbled upon this framework through my own curiosity one day. I then spent an entire day writing about it thinking I was coming up with something novel -- I was writing about a learning pattern I had observed since taking up writing. My own framework emerged. Then, when I presented this to friends, they always referenced OODA. Quickly found out 'The Iterative Loop' was another way of doing OODA.
