I hate that I feel this way but Miami is deteriorating at the periphery. It’s becoming a city that is only worth experiencing at a handful of cores. E.g. Wynwood, Coral Gables, Brickell, some beaches.

I have only gone back to visit three times since 2008. It always feels like an evolving Vegas, which, I have only toured once since 2008 and I live within 4.5hrs of it. The salt water is warm, that's always nice, but a given.

This might be a symptom of many major cities right now, all the ones I’ve been to in the past 24 months have felt less than they did before :/
