about our slippers: yesterday we visited the stanislavsky house-museum. in his home theater, the opera ‘eugene onegin’ was premiered, and when i was 13 years old, i played my first recital in this hall. stanislavsky was a unique artist and teacher. we were told that he was so obsessed with his work that they had to put a bed in his office — he would wake up, grab a pen, and start working right from bed.

Interesting, transitioning from sleep can open up creativity in weird ways. Dali used to sleep with keys in his hand and when he dropped it, he would wake up and start painting. The brain is in a very specific state where creativity is unleashed.
