i don’t understand why ppl compare crypto to a cult. a cult has one single leader, crypto is the exact opposite, decentralizing power to a network of nodes.

I think from an outsider's perspective, it is easy to oversimplify and think that you are either in crypto or not. More than it being 1 single leader, I think people may be thinking of the overall goal of the entire industry wanting crypto to become mainstream.
