Serotonin synthesis is a product of Tryptophan, an essential amino acid found most concentrated in Sea Lion kidney. It is almost impossible to get Tryptophan on a vegan diet (LOTS of spinach/spirulina would do it), occuring in high quantities in crab, lobster, fish, goat, and eggs.
