at the risk of engaging in the folly of a "subtance demander," and making an actual point, what do you think will happen when you "force" a grocery store to sell their goods at a loss? they will charitably do so? or is it more likely they will simply stop selling that good?

deadass tho, it sounds like you're joking, saying this is just punting the problem up the food chain... but don't we (USA) already heavily subsidize the farmers, to the point where they basically just grow what the government pays them to? so maybe introducing price controls on farmed goods isn't a drastic shift...
