1. What would be required to create a commoditization protocol that is capable of commoditizing computing infrastructure and resource availability to underwrite any digital data stream or set that is computed on it or exchanged through it? 

2. How would the role of a global interpreter enable this level of interoperability and hardware neutrality?

3. What kind of data provenance and computational provenance challenges would need to be overcome to make this a reality and what role would decentralization play?

4. Is there any historical precedent that can be learned to inform the technical approach of the creation of such a protocol?
