Do you think the web3 UI/UX designers should be different from other ones? Based on the users.

Do web3 builders even care for hiring (real) UX designers? The vast majority of dApps focus on providing an experience through the branding, but barely never a user experience that knows anything about its users' mental patterns, or when they do they focus on the super active degen who knows all about what he's doing, not the noob.

Even basic heuristic analysis would send to the bin most so-called "UX" in the current space.

Degens don't mind cause they chase the gains behind the pretty colors and eccentric UIs, but normal users (aka anybody not a degen) will care a lot, and so far it's a migrain-making machine where new comers either have degen friends to spell them how it all works dapp by dapp, or they rebound plain and simple.

If you design for degens, you design for a tiny niche of eccentric people. It could be just that and you're fine. But is your audience strictly limited to that niche or do you aim to onboard normies? Cause they are very different.

I think designing something that different kind of users could use can make your project successful, although your success is in less users 😂🥂
