All the little good things you do, combine to make you feel like a great person, which is a feeling worth fighting for :)

Any books from PK Dick, it's all scifi, but it blends in psychology and is very focused on how we experience reality. Some of my favourites are The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch, Flow my Tears the Policeman Said, and Scanner Darkly. Quite a few of his stories are in film too, Bladerunner is based on Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, for example :)

It's nice! It could use some update to make it less random maybe? Like getting stars to advance levels multiple times in a row, but barely getting stars. But otherwise it's fun!

Antifragile, by Taleb. Inadequate Equilibria, by Yudkowski. Kingdom of Fear, by Thompson. Two non fiction books that really taught me stuff. And one semi fiction book that is filled with stories of degeneracy!

I read this a while ago. Really good read for anyone needing some conviction on the macro trend of crypto. And crazy accurate for a book this old, the names they give crypto are different, but the fundamentals are exactly correct!

And it has created new generations of terrorists for the years to come. The level of violence Israel has commited solves nothing, and makes the world a worse place for the decades to come.

Currently reading Against the Gods, by Bernstein. About how our current analysis of risk evolved, it's an interesting book about history of maths, risk, and insurance.

An iphone has a clear use case, is common to have, status symbol, has fun apps and games and shit. A stock gives no direct change to your life, it's long term. People want short term visable use, not long term abstract benefits. We are impuls driven creatures to a large extent.

Big fan of PK Dicks books because of this. Good dystopian fiction that is both relatable and imaginable to certain extents.

Pretty much all in this channel seems like useless spam. Is there another solana channel on farcaster that does have good discussion?

You're welcome! They make a good show, neutral, no politics, concrete ideas about how events affect markets. One of my favourite podcasts.

I also think the univerde and everything in it is meaningless by default, and that any meaning we perceive is something created by us. Meaning feels more like a narrative or a story we tell ourselves, and not like something fundamental. Interesting to consider if meaning needs an ego to create it though!

In what way doesn't life make sense without ego? Doesn't pretty much all of life exist outside of your ego?
