For Layer3's Alchemix alUSD tasks, I had used Aave's aUSDCopt which can be obtained by depositing USDC.e (the bridged rather than the native version) on Aave. The alETH part is easy since you can use the toggle to deposit ETH directly.

Alchemix have some really bad frontend engineers which are not polling and maintaining the states properly. To make sure the app is doing the correct thing, it's best to refresh after each transaction.
