Back in the days a chef friend of mine used to work at a restaurant on 9st right off fifth ave, maybe the 3 building off 5th ave in west side, I forgot the name … it was a restaurant in a building like the neighborhood that dated back to pre prohibition era … so it had a cool speakeasy, and a private room that literally sat underneath the sidewalk, we booked that private room to celebrate my 33rd bday there many many moons ago, the theme of the night was Alfred Hitchcock because I share same birthday as him, it was one of my most fabulous bday celebrations I’ve had 😂❤️
