Do people actually consciously make a judgement about quality of service when they tip??!

I always just mindlessly add 15-20%. So the whole "tipping incentivizes quality of service" argument has always seemed unrealistic to me.

I tip well out of fear because most places I eat at once are places I eat at twice.

😂 funny, I only go twice to places I tipped well. Although I always tip minimum, I increase depending on service because I believe that encourages servers to step up their service, which is their job.

Funny thing is when trying to tip a first class flight attendant, they all get offended like dude we make enough money, which is not the case at your local bar, so we all must tip serves 👌🏽
