Quinn isn't completely wrong in warning folks here. MSTR levering the hell up here is a systemic risk to this leg of the bull market. Doesn't mean it collapses here, but TBH liquidity is drying up and we are looking at a recession. We could easily see crypto pull back hard.

Everyone who had negative reactions to Justin Drake's Beam Chain proposal should watch this follow up talk he did at the Bankless Summit. It nicely contextualizes where the Beam Chain fits within the rest of the Ethereum roadmap.

If your chain is actually decentralized then it should take years to ship fundamental upgrades. Conversely, if you can "move fast and break things" you are running a glorified database. But what do I know, I think building futureproof infra > "token go up tomorrow"

I'm gonna share possibly a controversial opinion, but I think that this massive open interest build up contains a fuck ton of shorts and I think that $ETH has a very real chance of going on a monster rally now.

If you are trend trading parabolic trends then yes, you can see where you would have exited this cycle. I do believe the next parabolic trend of this cycle past all time highs will be coming

Immutable has received a Wells notice from the SEC, the latest in their de facto policy of regulation by enforcement. We received this within hours of our first ever conversation, on a timeline clearly accelerated to land before an election.

So how will ETH accrue value? Being the most useful, scarce, deflationary asset with 10,000+ teams using Ethereum to grow their products will probably do it. Long term ETH has the best fundamentals in the world, it just takes time for them to play out.

Vitalik's ‘Purge’ Roadmap Outlines Path To Combat Ethereum’s Growing Data Challenges Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin outlined "The Purge," a roadmap to reduce Ethereum’s data "bloat" by limiting the amount of historical and redundant data nodes must store, making node

Recently, @VitalikButerin reiterated the importance of the rollup-centric roadmap for Ethereum’s scalability. He mentioned that Ethereum Layer 1 (L1) serves as the robust and decentralized base layer, while Layer 2s (L2s) focus on scaling. This division mirrors society, where a

Still don't think people appreciate how insane it is that Ethereum has many different clients *and* that they are fairly well-distributed across the network. This is one of Ethereum's crowning achievements because it is *incredibly* hard to achieve and requires years of work.

2 years ago: L2's suck and will never be successful Today: L2's are going to be so successful that they will steal all activity away from Ethereum mainnet (but not my favorite L1) When the fud is this dumb, you know you're building the right things.

"Cross chain UX in Ethereum ecosystem sucks" This is 100% apps/wallets fault. The infra exists to build delightful cross chain experiences TODAY. They just aren't prioritizing it high enough. Come talk to me, let's fix it.

Look at the violence of the move higher. The bond market has dramatically reduced Fed rate cut expectations. Yield curve is now close to being uninverted again. The Fed has made a mess of things with that jumbo rate cut.

We can no longer afford to eat the cost of these luxury beliefs. Solo staking in a place where you do not have appropriate bandwidth imposes an externality on the network. If Ethereum doesn't win, the world looks much more dystopian than a world where Ethereum sacrifices

I would also add that this process becomes 'boring,' which is actually a good thing. As you refine your setup, you learn to be patient, avoid overtrading, and resist the urge to engage in all the 'fun' but detrimental behaviors like overtrading.

Fredric Jameson has passed--what an unmatched American intellectual presence for the last 50 (at least) years. "Marxism and Form" is his best book, imho, but my favorite line of his comes from "Brecht and Method": "History puts its worst foot forward." Rest in Power, Fred.
