I have this theory that all these dapps, games, jpegs, chains, bridges, layers we’ve been creating for years now on average merely have the net effect of value flowing towards wallets that are more willing to sell than buy. 

Project this forward in time… if we don’t get a killer app soon, ETHER price tends to zero.

I see your point. Without a game-changing app to drive real demand, there's a risk that ETH and other assets could lose value as funds flow to those who are more eager to cash out
