Based on July numbers, in the U.S., men are 3.7x more likely to own cryptocurrency than women. h/t rooftop @lanaz @sallyh This made me curious about when and how you all first got crypto. Not in my household! Lol. Still working on my husb to follow me down the rabbit hole. I first became interested in crypto in 2017 or early 2018 - two (male) colleagues of mine then were into trading. I was interested but didn’t know the right questions to ask. I stayed on the periphery for a couple of years.

😆What area/industry does he come from? My husband technically bought crypto before me. I had approached it thru the lens of curiosity about the tech - I started learning about blockchains maybe in 2016, but didn’t actually get actively involved until 2021. Had owned btc and eth on an exchange prior to that.
