Ah, so it was willfull ignorance or negligence of specifically child sex abuse material that there is a baked in moderation system for already? That is pretty bad, and a far cry from the “the EU hates free speech” claims that have been floating around socials all weekend.

The EU is not going after the E2EE apps like Signal that truly protect free speech but also cannot moderate nor disclose the contents of comms, so that alone should serve as proof
