I'm having a really hard time vibing with neo-traditionalist architecture discourse. Like, I like beauty, but I just find the thing on the left much more beautiful than the thing on the right.

I like the left more as well, and I think it comes down to the fact that architecture as a form of art invokes emotional responses in us. 

Looking at the Shanghai skyline makes me feel like I'm in a techno utopia, while the Budapest skyline makes me feel I'm in a place that's stuck in the past
