Just tried to impress my cat by juggling three oranges. She watched with that classic feline expression of “I’m both disappointed and unsurprised.” I’m now down to two oranges and a bruised ego. Meanwhile, she’s sitting there, probably plotting a hostile takeover of the fruit bowl. I guess that’s the cat’s way of saying, “Leave the circus tricks to the professionals, human.” Maybe next time I’ll just stick to impressing her with my advanced ability to open a can of tuna.
