Overwhelmingly meh IMO. Whole album rollout has felt super forced and unauthentic.

Hope it grows on me a bit after more listens.

With all the music industry satire/self-awareness in Atlanta, a cookie-cutter rollout for a feature-heavy album like this just feels off. Also not crazy about concept albums in general, but that's def more of a personal taste thing.

Maybe the bar was set too high after Redbone and This Is America. Could by why he is deciding to put an end to the alter ego. I personally like a bunch of songs on the album and the wide range of musical styles he showcases on it but it does feel like it was kind of randomly thrown together
