Trump and Bernie are surprisingly similar. Both understand that there's a huge swath of Americans that feel abandoned It’s also why Trump is trading short-term pain on Wall Street if it means fixing Main Street But there’s an easier solution to solve financial inequality 🧵

Don't get me wrong, I am a strong believer of financial inclusion and the reason I got into crypto in the first place was the ability for all parties to enter without a hall pass from the sec. But to say that we will reduce inequality by removing this is so oblivious to the problems causing inequality.

If millions of Americans with no real backup plans are investing in some of the highest risk assets and get liquidated, it's game over for them.

Even if these assets don't fail, it's funneling money up to already wealthy corporations and VC's, and them it becomes in the interest of more of America to crush working class wages, and benefit the shareholder class benefits, where the benefits won't go to the average investor, but rather than those who own most of the assets already.

I didn't say anything about using leverage, so no need to bring liquidations into this :P But you also used "shareholder" which I think also raises more interesting questions around the idea of cooperatives vs. companies + what ownership really even means in the US Now you're focusing on the right things
