week 2 in /the-arena 🚢 

this week for /uno we shipped more features for stories:

> seen and unseen states for story avatars
> post stories privately (just to uno) or publicly (to uno and as a cast that auto deletes in 24hrs)
> manage your own stories (download and delete)
> pause/play other people’s stories
> pull to refresh both stories and the feed simultaneously

Clever: stories are casts that auto-delete after 24 hours

I want to see what my FC friends are doing via a photo-first client.

But I'm not interested in minting their posted photos - just liking and commenting.

Minting your friends' photos feels too skeuomorphic.

Nice. I want to interact with photos from my friends (like your stories), not mint them.

I appreciate that minting is new, but I don't know that minting your friends' images is a breakthrough behavior. Stories aren't net new though and so won't be breakthrough - wonder what will.
