I think he’s saying how if one gets slashed it might lead to slashing across the board or something like that

Yup, and that is by design. If you execute Uniswap wrong, you get slashed. And guess what? The economic security behind Maker also decreases. When you become an Ethereum validators, you secure all dApps. When you become an EigenLayer validator, you secure all AVSs.
