And here is the next DePIN project I'd like to share here, esp. with my fellow Filipinos. This is a well-known project, and whose previous (Season 1) airdrop gave some Filipinos a hefty, six-figure reward (in PHP).
Go to https://app.getgrass.io/register/?referralCode=R3Pg8ovix2dAdKr
Sign up for an account, then on the left side of the app, click on Store. If you're on a desktop or laptop, choose and download "Grass Desktop App" and pick the one for your OS. The desktop app gives the fastest mining speed of 2x. Mining on phones is slower, and a mobile app is in the works.
Once the desktop app has been installed, log into your account with it and click "Connect" to start mining. Then, go to the Rewards section and connect and verify your email and Solana addresses.
@shairaaa and @sunnydaye, you might want to check this out, and start mining for your chance to get an airdrop for Season 2. 2 replies

This is something I've wanted to share here since I joined, but always keep forgetting to post.
Anyway, here is a new texturing suite named Instamat, that I discovered at the start of 2024. It's said to be like a combination of six tools from rival Adobe's Substance family of texturing software.
Now, if that doesn't excite you yet, you can download it for free, and get a Pioneer license that allows you to use it without any restrictions for a year, and even use it on freelance projects.
This initial release is only for Windows and Mac, but a Linux version is in beta. The software also comes with plugins for Maya, 3dsmax, and Blender. It works well on Linux too, under Wine, of course.
So, if you're serious about looking for a Substance alternative, this is it!
To download, create an account here: cloud.instamat.io
Read more about it here: https://80.lv/articles/instamat-an-alternative-to-substance-3d-tools-takes-a-firm-stand-with-creators

As an artist and animator, if you asked me to list my creative heroes you'll get the usual names plus a lot more from animation you're not familiar with.
But, as a human being, I place the US Army's Special Forces, esp. its members who wear the "Green Beret", near the top of my list of organizations or people I look up to.
Army SF soldiers are not your stereotypical door-kicking knuckle-draggers, no thanks to Hollywood's lumping of them with the Navy SEALs and the more direct action-oriented units of the US Special Operation Forces community.
Instead, they are a different breed of noble warriors best defined by their motto, "De Oppresso Liber", or "To liberate the oppressed".
Their main role is to go to places where such oppression occurs, and teach and train people to turn them into an effective guerrilla force, to help themselves fight their oppressors.
This book tells the story of how its author made it through the grueling 2-year selection process to earn the right to wear the Green Beret. 1 reply
