I bet people only like it if there's alcohol in it. But it IS sort of weird. I've tired it and it's definitely not something I would seek out. Much better to drink hot spiced cider or spiced wine or something like that for "festivities."

These days I drink things without alcohol in them for the most part.  So spiced cider is the best. I do remember likely a hot cocoa with mint schnapps though too. Just about everything is better than egg nog. 😂 It's just weird. I wonder who invented it. I have to find out now.

i used to mix my bottom shelf whiskey with apple cider. microwave for 30 seconds (warm, we don't want to evaporate the whiskey or risk igniting it). lovely treat and good for whatever ails you (ie, life).
