Seeing more chatter about the dwindling activity on various Metaverse platforms. These platforms will see blips of activity around key events and new feature drops but most will be ghost towns as they fight for attention and DAU. Q is who will be the X/IG/FB/TikTok of Virtual worlds? Better yet. Do we even need one?

spatial is doing a pretty decent job, if you think mainstream. easy onboarding for new users and advanced features for devs. best of both worlds. some of the others are just too strong in their visual identity to please everyone, like voxels, not really my bag.
