Think basepaint for nouns traits Rough outline: - brush-holders vote on noun (word) of the day - artists draw for 24h - final trait design goes up for mint (proceeds shared by artists/protocol/nouns) - brush-holders(?) vote on adding the trait to nouns collection or nah - if yes, trait is added and can appear as a nouns trait the next auction - repeat This would: - remove decision to add trait from maindao - remove issue of compensation - hyper-charge rate of new traits cc @ccarella.eth

Interesting! Noundry could potentially go this path @coralorca 👀 But I don't love the idea of potentially having a new trait pushed every 24 hours because that's what would happen Also, voters should be different from artists to avoid conflicts of interest I like the idea of constantly rewarding artists, though a really good head trait takes longer than 24 hours. Look at @amiyoko's, @tummlin's, or @facu's traits—to name a few. Perhaps once a week/month would be better? I still like the idea of rewarding head traits with Nouns. Currently, it's social consensus, but earning Nouns by 'bidding' canonical art (traits) would be interesting. Maybe difficulty increases with time, and it takes two head traits for a noun or even ten accessories for a noun – I don't know, I'm rambling now

- basepaint works bc the canvas is large enough to allow meaningful contributions from many artists, nouns traits are 10x10 (??? not sure but much smaller) feels harder to let many artists all contribute - I personally don't like the idea of adding one new trait per day, too many traits - vrbs auction mechanism wrt choosing art is cool

Cool idea though, it’s fun, I’d like to see something of this flavor. I like the collaborate nature of it
