stockmarketcaster: how do we feel about our long $OPEN position?

Trusting an ML model built on historical data for the next two years of housing market is tough.

Exited my position earlier this year.

A recession + housing correction was always going to be the test for that model. Curious to see if they can survive it.

I am long on the idea but very unimpressed by OD execution thus far.

it’ll be a choppy 2-3 months of poor margins as they clear out current inventory. key thing to monitor is how acquisition volume + margin trend next quarter as i’m sure they’ve substantially raised acquisition fees and lowered purchase prices to cover risk.
