"onchain nfts" will also be pruned via state expiry eventually ordinals too no need to keep that data around forever. some nodes probably will, but you'll have to pay to access those solana got it right with rent tbh embrace the fleeting nature of existence 😌

Paying for archival access is honestly a fair trade. Not all nodes need to carry everyone’s bags
