I find it insane that Telegram has become the de-facto messenger app for crypto people.

Everyone connects there, and very important sensitive topics are discussed.

Keep in mind: Telegram IS NOT end to end encrypted by default.

Telegram employees can read what you are saying.

Indeed, and groups aren't E2E either... I never understood why it was the first choice in the NFT space when I arrived in 2018 🤷‍♂️

Discord does not advertise itself as safe and it's for communities. Telegram claims to be a safe messenger and seasoned pros in the industry have sent me very sensitive information via TG.

They all somehow assume it's E2E encrypted.
